At the sub-forum on achievement sharing, Dr. Huang Zhiyi from VTR made a presentation on the Feasibility Study on Directly Adding Aquatic Phytase to Extruded Feed, saying that aquatic phytase was first promoted by VTR in 2014, which has been widely recognized by the industry as a neutral phytase used in aquatic feed. A series of experiments and data show that aquatic phytase of VTR features very high economic value, social value and nutritional value.

On the one hand, in the context of the continuous rise of the price of aquatic feed raw materials, when the price of calcium dihydrogen phosphate is at a high level (RMB 5000/t), the addition of aquatic phytase can save at least RMB 30 or so per ton of ordinary fresh water submerged material, and the cost can be saved at least RMB 25/t after the cost of fillers is deducted.
 

On the other hand, from the perspective of environmental protection, the total phosphorus content in the test pond added with aquatic phytase is significantly reduced by 0.08 ppm, a reduction of 40%, which can greatly reduce the phosphorus pollution in the water.

From the perspective of nutrition, the product can effectively eliminate anti-nutritional factors, and improve digestibility.
 

Finally, Dr. Huang enumerated the feasibility plan of aquatic phytase applications, indicating that when the price of calcium dihydrogen phosphate is relatively high, the addition of aquatic phytase can significantly reduce cost and increase efficiency.

At the booth of VTR, two products were mainly displayed. The WTL product, as an efficient aquatic phytase product, can effectively decompose phytic acid, release phytate phosphorus, and eliminate the complexation of phytic acid, improve the utilization of protein, starch, trace elements, etc. according to the digestive physiological characteristics of aquatic animals, and combined with neutral and high temperature resistant phytase developed with the aquatic feed processing technology.
 

The WTM product is a new type of liquid protease product developed according to the requirements for post-injection granulation of aquatic feed, through a large number of strains screening, and according to the characteristics of protein raw materials in the formula of aquatic feed. With strong stability, high decomposition efficiency and strong pertinence in the liquid state, it is the first original dedicated product of enzyme oil post-injection aquatic feed.
